Gene Boaz Photography offers two options for your Senior Portraits: The Senior Session and the Yearbook Session.
The Senior Session
The Senior Session includes multiple changes of clothes and a variety of backgrounds, both inside and out, for full length and close-up poses. There is no sitting fee, and the deposit made to confirm your session is applied to your order. You can bring your vehicle, props, pets, or a friend or sibling at no additional charge to personalize your portraits.
We allow up to four outfits for your session, and recommend the following:
The Parent Pleaser: This outfit should be something that you and your parents agree upon that is appropriate for portraits that will hang in your home. This is often a more formal outfit, but can be anything that you both agree upon.
The Senior Pleaser: This outfit should be all about your sense of fashion- let this outfit reflect who you really are.
The Casual Outfit: This outfit can be anything- from your ripped jeans and favorite t-shirt, to your beloved hoodie. These portraits will be great for black and white portraits and casual portraits to give to friends.
The Fun Bag: Love playing sports? An avid hunter? Excel in art? Bring a set of props and an outfit to match to show off your hobbies or favorite pastimes.
The Senior Session also includes the poses that are required for your yearbook, so it is not required that you schedule a separate session for your yearbook portraits. The Yearbook Session
Most schools is Western Kentucky require that you use Gene Boaz Photography for your Senior Yearbook portrait. In May and June, this service is provided to you and your school at no charge. After June, there IS a sitting fee for your portrait. The Senior Yearbook Session includes only what is required for your school yearbook. This generally includes inside, formal portraits using either a tux or drape (which we provide), and an outside casual portrait.
Gene Boaz Photography is aware of what is required by your school, but if you are unsure, check with your yearbook advisor for more details. Most schools require that the portrait you use for your yearbook pose conforms to your school's dress-code. These portraits are available for purchase using the same packages as our Senior Session, but if you are interested in clothing changes or bringing props, consider our Senior Session instead, as it includes your Yearbook Portrait as well as other options for your portraits.
